Fiore Italian Greyhounds is owned and operated by Cecilia Resnick in Austin, Texas. She is a member of the Italian Greyhound Club of America (www.italiangreyhound.org) and is on the Board of Directors for the Italian Greyhound Club of Greater Houston (http://www.igclubhouston.com). Cecilia got her start in Phoenix, where she was a board member of the Valley of the Sun Italian Greyhound Club, (www.azdogs.com/vsigc), and  a founding member of the Arizona Toy Dog Fancier's Club (http://www.azdogs.com/atdf).   She has also served as the Rescue Parade Chair at the IGCA National Show.

All of Cecilia's dogs are raised in her home, where they are handled, loved and, trained by both Cecilia and her family. A true lover of the breed, her Italian Greyhounds (IGs) are raised to be companion dogs, and will be most comfortable in homes that can give them the love and attention they deserve.

Dedicated to preserving and improving the breed, pedigrees are thoroughly researched prior to breeding, in order to promote soundness and health.

In order to best understand both the physical and psychological attributes of her IGs, Cecilia has taken both handling and genetics courses. She has studied reproduction and genetics under Carmelo Battaglia, Dr. Robert Hutchinson and Myra Savant Harris. She routinely attends weekly handling classes, in order to develop new and upcoming prospects. She has also attended several George Alston handling seminars, placing first in her handling class. Recently, Cecilia has attended John Wade's AKC course for Aspiring and Newly Approved Judges. Cecilia's dogs are shown both locally and nationally, and she has many champion dogs in her kennel.

The emphasis for Fiore Italian Greyhounds is quality, not size. Great care is taken to match the right dog with the right owner. Prospective owners are always interviewed, to insure that the IG will be happy in their new environment. To contact Fiore Italian Greyhounds, please vist the "Contact Us" page.
